Are club cancelling booking in July?

We had a booking at Chatsworth 24th June to 8th July. It has been removed by the club and we have had no contact about it. I appreciate they have closed sites until the end of June so the first part of our booking was expected to be gone, but they haven't even left in the dates from 1st to 8th July?

Has anyone else experienced this?

    Hi iDriver

They cancelled all of our booking up to the end of June, three in total but we didn't have any booking overlapping June / July. We still have our booking for July 18th on the system

Hi Rich, did they contact you directly to tell you about the June cancellations or was it just the generic email to all members that covered that?

We had one call from one site to advise  the rest we cancelled our selves, all our bookings up to the end of june  ,,,i understand other people were cancelled as a blanket cancelation from HO? of all bookings that up to and including june ,

I suggest you rebook if you still want? the july dates, in case the sites can open then

We've booked a club site for 2 weeks starting July 2nd so the club are taking July bookings.

That's very strange as the latest Gov directive says that the 3rd stage of easing the lockdown, when some leisure facilities might open, won't begin before July 4th at the earliest.

Perhaps the IT dept haven't caught up yet in adjusting the availability calendar to that effect surprised   I wouldn't expect sites to reopen until at least the 4th of July either, and possibly not even then, depending on the situation at the time.

There is an updated (11 May) statement by CAMC following HMG's announcement on 10 May  <<HERE>>  (Unfortunately the date at the top still says 23/4/2020, but is actually dated 11/5/2020, IMHO the April date should have been updated, as people may not read further than that, seeing that date is now 3 weeks ago)

I've copied part of it below, which says current plans are for a phased reopening of sites.  Exactly what that means is unclear - are only SOME sites reopening?  And neither does it give an exact date of 1 July, so to me it's very doubtful that ALL sites will reopen on the 1st of July.  And it's all speculation at this stage anyway, it'll now be interesting to see what happens in 2-3 weeks from this week, after the easing of restrictions.

However, the Government advice does not currently give the dates that campsites and touring sites are able to reopen and is conditional on further progress being made. We will continue to liaise with Visit Britain, Tourism Alliance and British Holiday and Home Parks Association to ensure best practice operating, cleansing and safety protocols are developed for when we are able to reopen.

At this time we are planning on the assumption that we will be able to introduce a phased reopening of our sites network during July.

I am a little more confident of July opening after reading todays papers. It appears Boris wants the country to be back to normal-ish in July.
