How would you react if you looked out of your window to see a man walking around your garden and Motorhome.

make him know you are there somehow, put extra lights on, and phone the police perhaps just to let them know.
if you're confident even approach him or from a distance. The idea if he is a potential thief is that you are on guard and notice such things to stop him coming back.
Is this the front or back?

Get some photos and ring the police ,approaching these people these days can be very risky.

Sounds like he could be after your motorhome. Call the Police and, if you can, see if he's in a vehicle and note the number. Taking a photograph would be a good idea. There'd be difficulty proving he was the culprit if you later have anything stolen. Certainly let him know that he's been watched.
If you challenge him, he's only likely to say "he wondered if your motorhome was for sale …." Seen that before.

I was absolutely seething when the man walked to a bike on the path and rode off.
Hubby thought he looked like someone who lived at the side of our place. I looked out of a side window and he was parking bike in garage.
He had cycled round to retrieve his Son s ball from our garden.
As you can guess, quite a few words were shouted from our window🤬😖😡
