Three offer a Mifi modem that is self contained. Runs for 6 hours on an internal battery. Charges from leisure battery or mains. £21 a month for 24 months unlimited data. 4G.  Generally never had a problem with signal except in Dorset.

i bought an 4GEE WiFi Mini last year at Currys where they signed me up for a £20 contract.  I cancelled that and converted to PAYG as only really use it in summer months when I buy blocks of data which last various lengths. It is generally faster that club wifi and you can have multiple items on. I am only a single user but can see greater benefit for families. I plug it into the socket intended for the uninstalled microwave.

Im away in my van in Norfolk my virgin contract sim is in router internet its fantastic using windows tablet vfast while my other half on her mobile no reception inside caravan soon as wifi turn on her mobile fb games ect full and fast reception, yes we could tether a mobile to create a wifi signal but need a mobile signal to do that , in my opinion worth extra spend £299 defo boosts signal  i can browse ,watch plex  , i can login and watch my virgin tv from home on surface pro tablet with no buffering ,i have a sharp smart tv in the van not so good coping with the set up but can surf

I’m with Smarty on a rolling monthly renewal ( no contract ).They use Three network. Prices are fantastic.  £10 per month for 30GB, unlimited texts and calls. Both of us connect our iPads in the Motorhome to watch bbciplayer, YouTube and surfing.  Great stuff. And great connection too!
