All depends on what your towing with it.

Not seen any towing,  but they look a really nice vehicle,  but a friend had looked at them and was put off by the carrying space when all the seats were in use.

Hi there CGB ,thx for your input ,yes they are a really nice car .We actually thought the space in the back was quite generous with the seats up ,but because there will only be me and Jo travelling the space is not an issue. But to be honest after 25 yrs of camping, caravanning, and motorhoming ,when we get back on the road we are determined not to carry a load of things that we don’t need .😂

Google 'f pace as a tow car'  and you will find some very favourable reports and tests.  Looks good in either the 2 or 3 ltr engine sizes.

Its the same vehicle as the Range Rover Velar; its just better looking and better value.

To be pedantic, the Velar is the same as the F pace. The Jag came first by a couple of years so was not designed for Range Rover type off road credentials.  However petrol?! 😯 that will be a heavy drinker.... although wouldnt say no to a blast in an SVR....

Hi FC yes it is fun to drive ,it’s the supercharged V6 😊 almost 400BHP such a smooth engine and gearbox combination 👍

Havent towed with it yet but I will just put a piece of tape over the fuel gauge 😂😂

I prefer the looks of the F pace to the Velar too. Hope you got a good deal, significant facelift due soon.... would love a diesel V6 version however they are out of my £££ league.

My question is about my Milenco Aero Mirrors, about 2009 model.

I have just taken delivery of a new F Pace and although there is space between the mirror glass and the bottom of the mirror housing for the clamps they don’t seem to be able to make a tight secure grip.

II will appreciate comments and advice based on your experiences of this model

The F-Pace is one of the most stylish of the range IMO. Yup I’d be happy to own one in time👍🏻

Have a look at EMUK mirrors. They are a model specific cast alloy arm that wraps around cars door mirror body. An excellent but expensive [fraction of the cost of a new Jag though] bit of kit. You will have to source from Germany but find several e-bay outlets that if you e-mail will quote. Not all versions will be advertised as the range is large. Do not go for one of the generic models as these are a different design, more akin to Milenco and do not have the benefit of the custom fit.
