Fridge not working on mains electricity

My AES fridge/freezer isn't working on the mains suppy. It works just fine on the gas when we are on site and when we're travelling the engine charging system keeps everything cool/frozen. HELP. We're using too much gas!!

I've checked the fuse but that's about all.

My motorhome is a Eura Mobil Contura 706 on the Mercedes 316 Automatic chassis, not that that should make a difference.

Does anyone have the answer?

    Did you get a solution to your problem, David.

    My Thetford N3000 3 way fridge has developed the same issue.  I;ve been all round Google looking for an answer & everything is pointing to either the glass 2 amp fuse which I cannot find on the control board or the board itself.

    I was working fine until I probably over filled it with frozen food.

    I've emailed Thetford but had no response.

    It is more than likely the heating element is faulty. I had a similar problem with my Thetford fridge. The element was fortunately replaced under the guarantee by a dealer.

    This question was posted in 2013 I hope it's fixed and they didnt get food poisoning 🤞
