May I raise an observation regarding the current booking procedure. Currently I am unable to book any club sites in the Cotswolds region, regardless of date.If I attempt to scroll through all the club sites none of the Cotswolds area are available. Now is it my system or have other members observed this. I even attempted to get to the site via the map method. Yes I can get to site details, but I am still unable to book.

Don't seem to be able to bring up South West sites either. both regions don't exist if you try a search by region

See Snagging List and a few other threads. It's been brought to attention and is being worked on.

Perhaps it's part of the government policy to discourage people from travelling to tourist hot-spots.

I thought the sites that are closed but still have staff around ,the staff are actually furloughed so  should not be doing any work  unless its "voluntary"?surprised so although sites are not open , we who pay tax are actually keeping the club staff from the "breadline"cool

Are they not grass cutting and gardening to keeping the sites spruced up?

If we're still furloughed we can't workembarassed. That means not picking up a pen or even unlocking reception. When I said "us" I meant us as a club.

Under furlough rules you're not allowed to do any work or volunteering that has a benefit to the employer. Have a look at the gov.uk website which explains it. Those rules apply to us too unfortunately.yell

Hadn't realised all were furloughed. So the grass is getting longer and the sites untidy giving wardens an awful lot of work to put right eventually?

Maybe the warden is just keeping his hand in. Or taking his own rubbish to the bin.
