Hello all, I hope isolation is treating you well.
I am looking for help with the name or description of the the rubber strips that are along the side of my caravan. They run along the bottom edge of the van, both sides and are black rubber in and aluminium groove. Held in with a formed ‘T’ and rounded on the outside.
I would describe them as fender or bumper strips, but have had no luck searching under these names. I have added a couple of photos below to assist.
If anyone can name this product, or better yet point me in the direction of a supplier, I would be very grateful

Yours,

JP

If you are concerned about them shrinking you can probably stretch them out again. It will be easier on a hot day. Remove the end cap and refit it with the screw through the rubbing strip to stop it shrinking back again.

    I'd not use a screw .... I'd try a blob of Sikaflex/Tigerseal

Easier to fit if it’s warm, so drop into a bucket of warm water before fitting!
