May booking
Hello I had a booking in May , now I know the site will be closed which is understandable and not a problem .
I have just tried to look up the booking and there is nothing shown .
My question is would this booking have been cancelled by the site or do I need to try and get hold of them to cancel ?
Moderator Edit:
Each site was tasked with doing its own cancellations of bookings up to the end of June. No need for action of your part.

I'm pretty sure that if the booking is not showing under "my bookings" in your profile it would have automatically been cancelled by the club. I don't think you need to take any further action.
You could, of course, make a booking for much later in the year and then check that it does show under "my bookings" to make sure.

We had a call from one of the first sites of our now virtual uk tour to advise they would not now be able to honour the booking, because of the Shut down, so to save others having to probably do the same, i cld the rest of my bookings ,to the end of june ,with little hope that it would not be extended

Sites are closed until 30 June so no need to cancel.
I had an email to say my June booking had been cancelled.
Actually it said "Thankyou for cancelling your booking…" but we won’t split hairs about it. 🤣

I made manual cancellations online, about a week ago, of our 3 bookings for the UK leg of the now aborted Austrian holiday. I received 3 separate emails to confirm cancellation.
Given the number of coronavirus infections and deaths across Europe, and the drip, drip of lockdown extension dates, I think the Summer caravan forays will develop no further than the Forum 'Fantasy Tours'.
I would love to be proved wrong ...
