In these diffilcult times, and all camp sites are closed are members going to get a refund or carry our subscriptions over to next year.

Moderator Edit:

This is a difficult time and people are discussing the difficulties faced by all businesses whether large or small.  We already have discussions on this topic elsewhere so I'm locking this thread to avoid duplication.

I would image not.  The mag is still being issued, and HQ will be operating in some form to keep members informed, and to deal with issues concerning cancellations of bookings that have been made through the Club.   Perhaps it might be reasonable to expect next year’s annual subscription not to suffer the endemic price increase?

Right. In that case my post will go as well along with several others spread across the forum in various threads.

I doubt there will be a refund. It might be possible that a period of membership is extended to compensate but who knows. For some income might be a problem at present and I hope that does not affect the OP.

Perhaps someone would like to buy my classic car together with membership of 2 car clubs due to the fact that all of the shows and runs that I had the expectation of attending are cancelled for the forseeable future,I also have appointments with dentist, hairdresser cancelled and am still waiting for an appointment with a dermatologist perhaps the government would like to compensate me for all of these inconveniences or maybe they have more important issues to deal with!

Personally it does not trouble me one way or another. My income is normal and my outgoings look set to be greatly reduced over the coming months sadly.

I would much rather the club keep it and use it to offset the cost of this lockdown. As I put in another thread, taken alongside the cost of depreciation on an unusable MH, insurance on MH and two cars not being used, tracker subscription, Mayday etc. It isn't really worth worrying about.

I would think it i more difficult for all member  organisations to get through this difficult time     without, the members of this club trying to get about £13.50 back for the time , we hope after which, we may be able to get out and about again

I really don’t see what all the fuss is about. The only benefit that you are missing is using the sites network, and maybe booking a ferry. I have a friend who sold his caravan and stayed in the club just so he could have the other benifits ie cheap ferries.
