What are those needs? Can you say how far back we will find them?

In that case I think you need a time machine, DT. Best send for Dr Who.

Dave - here is the full post I was replying to and that you, in turn, appeared to take issue with -
"Sorry for the late reply but just got back from lunch. To answer your question I fall into the category of not bothered about catching the virus which from talking to people in the rather crowded pub at lunch is a popular view amongst people here. Asked the landlord if he is thinking of closing and he said not until forced to which I think is sensible. No local business can afford to close for God knows how long and for what just to avoid the inevitable. Thank heavens local people seem to be sensible and are carrying on as normal."
What is your view on that?

Might I suggest that any doubters read up about the Plague of Eyam.

Yeah, I'm glad you spotted that.
Now, got any specifics for resolving the problem?

With respect, it's not "catching the virus" per se which is the problem is it? It's surely the possibility of catching it without realising it and the risk of passing it on to others? If you're "not bothered" about that, there's little more to say.
The above is what I was replying to

That's a 'no' then 🙁

How very sad. At the very point when we should all be following the scientific advice, pulling together, supporting each other (within the constraints of social distancing) and showing a bit of compassion ... the bickering and sniping starts.
No need for anyone to reply, I’m self isolating from this forum, it’s not adding much value in the current crisis.

But you’ve been self isolated for 3 years…🤔

And how long do you think it will be before we are able to produce the essential products that are coming in at present in those trucks from Europe should we start planting now, DT?
