Hello everyone

Collecting our 1st ever caravan on the 19th and looking forward to having some new adventures should everything stay open long enough. Have booked a local site to test everything out and being complete newbies am feeling a little nervous but should get better with practice.

Enjoy, take it steady, don’t get flustered and it will all work out great.  Just make sure when you arrive you get the electric hooked up ASAP and get the kettle on.

If you get confused with anything just ask someone on site and they will help if they can.  That’s the nice thing about caravaning and motorhoming.

    NewbieShaws,

If you can take some form of recorder with you to the HandOver.

'Cos there will certainly be a couple or three things you will forget.

Believe me  its something most of us have learned the hard way.

Thank you for all the kind replies and advice. We have just returned and can say we really enjoyed the 2 night break. Only had one real issue and that was when using the mover to level on ramps it kept turning the caravan as it went up. Didn't work out what the issue was so ended up being a bit on the skew but nice and level and cosy.
