But wouldn’t the forum be boring if all we posted to each other was "Morning, nice day"! 😂😂

I can think of a cpuple of very long, ongoing (perpetual) threads that are like that...

if you're that sure, perhaps you could put a bit of meat on these bones, M?
or are you just popping in, tossing in a few scraps into the fray and waiting for the effect?
surely not, a lovely mild mannered chap like yourself....so, come on, out with it
dont be shy now you've brought it up

so youre not going to answer, then...?
yes, David mentioned someone in Portugal....and you replied
"surely not any (unnamed) member ot CT touring "over there?!!"...
as i said, dont be shy, who could you possibly be referring to?

I think the relevant words there "surely not", BB - so how could I possibly name them?
I really don't know why you're taking such exception to a post which merely restates what you've said so often in the past about folk with "new shiny MHs" - couldn't possibly be that some folk are above criticism in your eyes could it?

Don’t fret, it’s not a competition.

So....in summary. Someone plants a post, calling it theft. There’s a round about conversation about what vehicles require what, another informative post telling us that a CL has taken punitive measures around charging of large items such as EV’s, Hybrids, mobility scooters and e-bikes, in response to being taken for granted, and no one, including the Club, is quite sure why the pricing for charging of EV and Hybrids on Club Sites is what it is, but it’s interim, until the Club decides to pull its finger out and recognise that EV and Hybrids are here to stay!
Hybrids of course might not survive the Government purge along with ICE vehicles, but by then, if someone finds an EV that’s capable of towing a big van, and MHs are designed to be EV powered, and that both don’t require a big lottery win, touring might just survive, in which case the Club will invest in EV charging points, separate from the pitch fee, and generally, most, but not all, will be happy!
Portugal, gold taps, other providers of pitches, and hotel rooms are merely incidental to the general gist of the conversation!😁

Probably NOT if the introduction of EHU was anything to go by.

I prefer the latter concept!
