Hi. Sorry if this is in the wrong section or a silly question .

I was just wondering if anyone could give any feedback on what the concerts are honestly like at The Nationals? Never been before and am considering booking The Beatles and a couple of other ones, but if its not numbered seats or tiered so you can at least see the stage then i am not so keen . Are the marquees massive so you are just stuck at the back and cant see over peoples heads?

Dont really want to pay for something if i cant see the performance sorry .

Thanks

I haven't been to a National for a few years now but at the shows I have attended the seats are not tiered but the stage is raised. Seating was first come first served. With such an arrangement the nearer to the stage you were the better the view. Queues to get in used to start forming 45/30 mins before doors opened.  I would not have expected this to change but someone who has been more recently should be able to confirm or alter the above.

Thank you Peedee....appreciate your answer . Yeah i expected that kind of set up . Puts me off a bit . Especially if its a huge marquee and you’re stuck right at the back .
    I appreciate your help . Cheers 😊

Think we will give the National a miss . Not sure i’m gonna find out any honest opinions to my questions,  as my thread has been micro managed into a section that no one looks at 🙄 .
thanks for helping me make the decision tho ...whoever moved it . Its a no from us

We went three years ago and found the set up ok, seats are limited anyway and I didn't find it overcrowded or unpleasant. People were coming and going easily so access was good. It's not that massive that you can't see anything, it's not Glastonbury! wink ps we enjoyed it.

The marquee is not big and the stage is raised ,that's what we noted at Sandringham

Giza, you seem to be doing a good job in talking yourself out of going. We did miss last year, but going this year.I still do not understand why you will be stuck at the back. You can always get in queue early.

I think it was Belvior Castle where we first had the Queen act on and I still do not this has been surpassed. As posted before marquees are not to big depth wise but they can be wide.

    Try one.

We have been to a few rallies and a few concerts. We are not too fond of queueing so haven’t gone too early. We have always managed to get decent seats even if at the back.
We have booked for the Jersey Boys this year and may go to another one.

    Tip: Take a cushion.
