Went today  purely to look at specific accessories.  Disappointed Maxview weren't there and the satellite people  all offered the automatic stuff. Lots of people about but how many were buying?  The NEC could do much to improve the experience. Provide somewhere to sit to eat picnic lunches- seeing OAPs sitiing on the floor eating their sarnies is not good marketing. Better signage would help, we struggled to find our way out to the buses having walked in. Car park exit signs need improving   with some marks on the ground.  As I said to the OH they're quick to take your money but not so good to let you out. On a positive front we thought the spacing on the stands much better.

From the venues point of view I imagine they would rather people buy their refreshments from the various cafes? I thought both Clubs offered seating areas where you could consume your own food? Apart from some water we never take any refreshments as we don't want to be bothered about carrying them around, we even leave our coats in the cloakroom. I appreciate that the food at the NEC is not cheap but for the sake of an event that we only visit occasionally buying food there is just part of the day out. My problem is not finding the exit but remembering where I parked the carsmile

Take a photo on your phone of where the car is parked with a reference point like a sign in it tongue-out

Or have you the facility to connect your phone to your car where it registers on your phone and you can use a mapping app/google maps etc to get the route back.

or use the map facility on your phone to put a place marker as you leave the car.
