The Club have started sending out emails entitled "Let’s double check your holiday plan" rather than the old enjoy your holiday. We have just received one for bookings in May, however also have 3 bookings in April which we have received no email for. There seems little logic in the CC's approach.

They are possibly getting a few more no shows. We don’t get anything, opted out of such. I use my iPhone calendar to record all our appointments and holiday dates, sometimes using a day before alert if it’s an appointment, just to make sure I don’t miss anything. We are well organised.

More like increased no shows because the membership can now book up to a year in advance and that means more are forgetting what they have booked? wink

An ageing forgetful membership?  wink Like TDA I've opted out of emails and but have dates lined up elsewhere plus "my bookings" on here.

I think they have just changed the name of the 'reminder' email, it is still doing the same job?

We've got a couple of nights booked just before Easter on a CAMC site, and received that email on the 11th of January, 3 months beforehand!

Unless another one is sent closer to the date, if this is indeed aimed at reminding people of their bookings, there is still a good chance of some people forgetting.

Like others before me on this thread, we have all bookings recorded, digitally and on the good old-fashioned calendar, so we're unlikely to "forget", but obviously some appear to.
