Visitors parking
Can anyone advise if members can use the visitors parking at sites if not staying on site at that time?

Whilst I agree with what Oneputt has said I suppose one should add the caveat that it only applies if visiting someone on site not if you are just visiting the general area and need somewhere to park?

I agree with what David has said. As the title implies, it's a facility provided for visitors to the site. You must be actually visiting the site or somebody staying there.

Absolutely. I read of a case a while back where a member had been refused parking when he wasn't visiting or using the site but wanted to walk into the nearby town.

Visitor parking at club sites is as stated "visitor parking" and for people who are visiting those staying on that particular site ,and who have advised the site staff they will be having visitors ,it would also then be their responsibilty to meet them ,and give them them access if security barriers are involved, most sites do not have space for other members just to use the visitor parking, ,as there may also be other "second" vehicles that there is not room on sites for .

On very busy days where the car park gets full then usually the wardens will let you park in the LNA if you ask nicely and obviously aren't staying past 8pm.

That's fine. You were visiting the site and not simply taking advantage of the possibility of free parking to wander off the site.
