News appearing on Facebook says that the Countryfile event at Castle Howard in August has been cancelled. Apparently this has been announced on local BBC news and is due to lack of sponsors and exhibitors.

No news yet by the club on the rally there.

    As it was only yesterday it was cancelled ,i would not expect things to have been "looked at yet?" by many involved

    I very rarely go away at bank holiday time but I did fancy this. Never mind, nothing will change

    A special rate of more than £36 per night or £51 with ehu.  Plus entry.  Please don’t call it a Rally because it never was

    Harry the club "pop-up" Countryfile campsite is at Windsor this year.

    SME London, in conjunction with BBC Studios, have taken the reluctant decision to cancel Countryfile Live 2020 at Castle Howard.

    Despite the success of the Show in August 2019, the level of support from major brands and sponsors for the Castle Howard 2020 Show has been less than anticipated. Countryfile Live is a big production with a high level of infrastructure costs and relies on the support of exhibitors and sponsors to finance the event and the organisers do not wish to stage an event that does not meet your expectations.

    We realise this is disappointing news, but the Club will be at Windsor Great Park in August 2020. If you would like to make a campsite booking at this new venue, please visit www.camc.com/countryfile.  

    SME London and BBC Studios plan to continue to explore opportunities to expand Countryfile Live into other parts of the country in the next few years, and look forward to staging the Show this summer at Windsor Great Park having relocated from Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire.

    So  'Country Flies'  is a commercial organisation relying on gullible members of the public to attend and spend their money on products being shown by the exhibitors

    Fine if you wish, but count me out.

    I would lump that outfit in with all those seen at county shows etc.,
