is it worth fitting shockers to your caravan ?

whats the benefits ?

    I fitted to my previous caravan (single axle) and I felt it was more stable with them fitted. Straight forward to fit too.

    Fitting shock absorbers and balancing wheels both help cut down the bumps and vibrations within the van which may help to stop things falling apart.

    I would always fit shocks however they do eat into your payload a little.

    We had them fitted to one of our caravans, before they became standard equipment. I thought there was a marked improvement in stability and it didn't bounce as much!

    We fitted Shocks to one of our vans and the improvement in stability , especially on B class roads, was markedly improved

    Our first van didn't have any and anything not nailed down and even some things that were, used to migrate.😂 Totally different in our second one with shocks. Don't know about handling as the second one was a lot longer and heavier, so you were more aware of its movements in any event.

    I fitted them to a van a while back and it seemed to settle it down a bit on rough surface. Given that it triangulates the suspension onto the chassis and has a gas shock then the physics says it should give a marked improvement.
