Posters are only giving their opinions. My dogs loved the beach. Has to use a longline with the lab as once he was in the sea, unless with me it would be hall to get him to swim back to shore. I still feel that on many popular beaches a dog and no dog area would be a better solution spring and summer

When I had children and a dog it would have been a better option

M, thanks for posting, useful for us as we are hopefully down in September if not before. We know enough about Cornwall’s dogs and beaches policy to recognise this is good news. Gives locals a chance to use more beaches early and late with their own pets, without interfering with busy beaches for the visitors. Looking at the list there are still lots of all year round dog friendly beaches. You just have to know where they are😂😉

Our all time favourite isn’t listed, so no changes. Dog friendly 365 days of the year, 24 hours per day. And it still never gets busy at the height of July/August. Less than a mile to St Ives as well😂

Nah, not Burty posting but another who’s far less subtle. 😙

There are beaches like this with no restrictions all around Cornwall. This one is called The Strangles - free parking on the top road , 20 minutes to walk down and rather longer to walk back up again.

Tech savvy? Bit of a Yorkshire Terrier?😂

You need to stray more than 400 metres from car to find this gem! Breathtaking!
