I have posted this from a FB forum.

Cumberland Avenue is closed at the western end after the road collapses into the river outside the club site.

From the shot on the BBC news web site it looks as though there is still access to the site.🤞

There is access news on west travel etc, you can still get into BW from the western approach, Hotwells etc.

Looks to me brue as though the access would be from the other direction. The road seems to have collapsed / at risk in front of the site and the boat yard. The gate is at the eastern end of the site. So for us rather than comming in along the Portway we will use the M39 to its end cut across to St Mary Redcliffe and then in along the north side of the cut past the Great Britain.

Here's the LINK Steve, there seems to be access from both ends but obviously not straight through so the site has to be approached from the west.

By the way, I hope they drive those piles deep for the new buildings!!

edit Thanks Harry, hope people see this info.

M32 and approach from east (Commercial Road side) or A4/Portway as before, continue on A370 towards Bedminster (other side of the river) left, left at the roundabout crossing the river and you’re approaching from the east.
