I am thinking of having a solar panel fitted to our MH, not sure which one 100 watt, 120 watt or 150 watt, we do not go off grid at all so was thinking maybe a 100 watt. l want to use it to keep the batteries charged up while at home instead of hooking it up to the mains Your advice would be greatly appreciated.

100W will do it but if you go bigger, you have the flexibility if you do go off-grid. In fact, if all you want is to keep the battery topped up, a 60W would probably do it.

Yep totally agree with Cyber, walk round my storage and you see loads of the small solar panels with the cable going in through the window to keep batteries topped up..

The panels are only a part of the cost, and now panels are much cheaper than once. The fitting, wiring and controller cost are not that much different be it a 100 or 150 Watt panel.

Unless being ripped of by the vender, there ought to be very little difference in the price, as the cost difference is minimal.

If a 150 Watt fits that is what I would go for, more honestly it would be twin 75Watts  in series if I was doing it or having it done.

Thanks will probably go for the 150 watt only another 60 quid. Been quoted 100 quid for a battery mate, not sure if l need one. l have a 2015 Autotrail Tribute 625 not sure if my charger will alternate between Leisure battery and the Motorhome battery. Also l don't have anything to tell me how much charge l am receiving on my control panel, do l need a battery gauge
