Caravan Newbie
we have recently started caravanning, we ought a 2007 Hobby 570 SMF UK Collection and have recently had our first week away at the Caravan and Motorhome club site in Gowerton in Swansea, we really enjoyed it and was a great opportunity to try out the caravan, it was a great week however we had a few issues with the caravan, the water heater split, the skylights leaked and the 12 volt electrical circuit had a poltergeist inside however these have all been fixed and we are trying out the St Margarets club site at Chirk in Wrexham next week iur first for 2020. wish us luck

Sorry to hear of the problems but hope things improve now.
Lady Margaret's Park at Chirk is a lovely site. The toilet block is due an upgrade but it's always spotlessly clean thanks to the efforts of the site staff.

Welcome. If you need technical help whilst at Chirk there’s a dealer just up the road, Clwyd Caravans at Ruabon. Can personally recommend them. A couple of places you might want to visit are Stans at St Martins. It’s a large independent supermarket that has stuff from the pile it high end to Harrods end. They usually have a petrol deal. Deli-counter is also good. Just the other side of Oswestry on the A5 is the British ironworks which has sculptures and an excellent shop and cafe. If you go to Chester there’s a park and ride on the Wrexham road. Chester train station is a long way out of town. If you want to watch tv ask the warden for advice as many pitches won’t get any signal. Enjoy.
