North Essex and the Stour Valley
This is a lovely area of the country but there is no Club Site and a couple of the CL's we've visited were uninspiring. Anyone out there have any recommendations? Cheers, Tony

We tend to use the CL "Kahana" at Bradfield, mostly for when catching the ferry from Harwich. We find it more than acceptable. It's spacious but grass pitches if that puts you off. There is a commercial site a 100 yards away behind the pub, The Strangers, but never stayed on it. The Stour is an excellent place to visit and we normally take a few extra days to explore it.

The C&CC franchised Polstead site might suit. It’s a good site and handy for most places. I don’t know if it’s members only.

We found " Kahana" to be a very nice CL with excellent owners. So much nicer to watch horses through the front window than lots of vans on a Club/commercial site. Unfortunately we didn't see the Little owls in the garden. Location is ideal, close to the local village and for walks down to the sea.
What more do could you wish for?
