Another website booking problem

I am just starting to look at booking somewhere for early March. Fancy East Anglia or Cambrisgeshire.

I have checked four sites and not one has a price structure for any dates.

Norfolk Broads - Cromer - Incleborough Fields and Cherry Hinton.

I shall give up for now, I'm certainly not going to spend my time trawling through more sites to find the same problem

That's certainly strange! I just looked at Cherry Hinton as an example - it gives prices for tents but not for vans. What's going on? undecided

I tried the club website earlier on and just came up with an error this page not found and have just tried again all ok this time. Thought it might be site maintenance also it does take awhile to get from one discussion to the next!!

I came across the same problem yesterday with no prices showing on any of the Cotwolds sites. Still the same 5 minutes ago. I'm in no rush but others may book elsewhere.

Same here no prices showing. Presumably there is an issue with the site in general. I have certainly been getting a lot of error messages  / pages locking up today.

not even showing a price from.

Something is a bit weird at the moment.  I've had trouble in getting the app to book anything at all, although I can at least get the nights I want on the main site.  I haven't actually followed through and booked yet.... it could all go bottom up in a minute.......

yes I know what you mean, sounds very good value indeed.

I was looking at a non club site, descried as an award winning luxury campsite and for my caravan in March and they had prices from £36 midweek, £42 Friday and Saturday, and for some reason the last weekend is £60.

Did I mention that was per night ?

You've obviously used the 'Book Now' facility

Look under "View Details and Price" and it shows nothing. It is this section I have brought to light.

I certainly hope this is a slight glitch and heaven forbid it does not go like the new overseas booking system

Michael, theres a lot of 'bols' on herewink

i wonder where this award winning site is....not in the CC handbook for sure...

ive stayed at a site that was £40 a night when we stayed there but even more in peak....it was lovely, top class, but would we revisit? probably not at those prices..

funnily enough, i was thinking that £22 for 'early March' was more than enough, certainly not in the 'great value' area.frown

    Harry

If I book a site I always use that method. If that is where I want to go I tend not to look at the price or if I am shocked at the price it comes up with I might then go to the View Details and Price page!

BTW the price for this March is the same as it was last February so maybe the reason the prices are not fully showing is because they are being adjusted?

happily, Concierge Camping. You have stayed there yourself I believe. I was taking up your recommendation. And while it is certainly a very impressive site it would the considerable extra cost at times over a club site give me a better experience? I would like to try it though.

Hope you're enjoying your hols? Have a great time.

thanks for that, yes it was a lovely site, easy cycling from Chichester and the coastal Witterings...

the site is well presented, has immaculate washroom facilities (including 'infinity' sinks (think swimming pools)....yes, just a novelty but the sort of touch that makes you think someone has put some effort into the customer experience.

shop and bread delivery on site, pitches large and centred in circular form, all very classy...not cramped at all.

having said that, there is a CS within walking distance of Chichester and, despite no EHU, would make a great summer location at a ten er a night.

Concierege is lovely but, as you say, its expensive.

we sometimes do 'top' hotels, just because....but its only for the odd occasion, nice to be pampered once in a while, hence our desire to try it while in one of our favourite areas.

..and thanks for the wishes....we've had two and a half long days driving to the Costa Brava and arrived a few hours ago...have already met up with pals from last year at local restaurant and have decided to extend our original two weeks....plenty of time to explore other areas and will chase the sun if reqd.
    Happy New Year.
