An afternoon of jobs!
Got 3 good jobs done on our 2018 sprite Quattro eb today.
Insulated the external blown air pipe with 76mm armaflex self-seal, there is actually warm air coming from the vents in the end bedroom, first time since we got the caravan over a year ago! Our dealer wouldn’t do anything about this for us. If you’re getting cold air in the back of your caravan, I well recommend doing this!
We recently brought a tv for our winter trips, couldn’t get the rooftop antenna working.. Replaced the f connnectors on the coax cable as the previous had no ground connected, meaning the tv got better signal with a 6 inch mini antenna than the one on the roof! Tv signal on our drive is generally bad so will have to wait until our next trip to see how this goes.
Last trip we had an issue with the reversing lights flashing with the left indicator, took the cover off the 13 pin plug, the indicator pin was pushing up, causing it to make contact with the screw of the reversing light pin. The cable clamp hadn’t been tightened, allowing everything to move freely inside the plug!
We love our caravan, not so much the quality of the workmanship though!

Swift talk is probably the only place I didn’t think to read up on. I will take a look.
You’re right, it’s not an issue with build quality, but I still can’t understand why they would still be designing and building caravans with uninsulated pipes running outside!
My comment was more to do with the other issues, and the long list of other things we’ve have to get sorted 🤨 still doesn’t stop us enjoying caravaning though! It just means we will be spending a long time going through everything before we leave the dealers (and not the same unhelpful dealer) if we ever buy another, a lesson we have learnt the hard way!
