Hi everyone.  I am looking for recommendations for a site where I might see the Northern Lights.  I. Was booked for Stonehaven last year but family bereavement got in the way.  The Other club suggest their Isle of Skye site to see the Lights but that doesn't open till May!   The only thing I need is a dog friendly site preferably with on site dog walk but not essential.  Thank you in advance and happy New Year.

I have seen the Northern lights at least 3 times when I worked in Aberdeen so I think anywhere on the east coast should give you a chance.  To quote the old song The Northern lights of old Aberdeen

Thanks Oneputt I have loved that song for many years!  I will have to find a site open when the skies are dark.

If there's a site open in Caithness or Orkney you might get lucky Pippa. My friends on Orkney often see the lights (the merry dancers! smile)

The Crofters Snug, Viewfirth, Thurso. Grand CL, and you can't get much further north on the mainland.
