In last months club magazine the BeauEr 3X Compact Extendable Caravan won an award.  This started me thinking about pitching such an LV on a club site. Do you park the running gear across the pitch then the extend the body to line up with the peg?  Have the club given wardens instructions how they should be pitched?  Would the club even allow them on site?  surprisedwink

    😳🤯 Cue meltdown at HQ!

    Or maybe not.........🤔I doubt the non conformist owner of such an outfit would consider Club Sites as touring Nirvana!😂

    I see that on CLs, small private sites, wild camping.

    The extensions do not look to stick out a lot further than those on some 5th wheelers. How are those positioned? I can't say I have ever noticed.

    You’re absolutely surrounded by people and subliminal messages selling you stuff, you just don’t know it.

    Maybe a prospective purchaser might want to use it for UK touring, but also consider its potential for going further afield if necessary? Crazy idea maybe, but I think it does happen.

    Would the club even allow them on site?

    I can just see the headlines now;

    "CAMC refuse to admit this caravan to one of their sites because......it's a caravan"😁

    I in fact do know it. But it doesn't affect me in the slightest, I buy on independent research.

    No such thing, just subtle marketing by another name undertaken by people with natural bias, prejudice and self interest, in other words people trying to make a living. Part of the game is getting people to believe it’s something other than what is it - looks like you fell for that one!

    I would think the "pitching rules" are there ,and am sure the Owners would intervene if there were "problems" undecided

    but then noting some of the sites we used in the past and have seen on recent "chauffered" trips over there keeping at"arms length" is quite wide spacing on some sitessurprised

    Like me, I think he’s struggling to understand what your point is. I think ‘nieve’ means ‘closed hand’ in Scottish parlance, which seems a bit off-topic?

    Well they are wasting their time on me Bill. My neighbour is however easily influenced. No doubt there are adverts in our local supermarkets but I really am unaware of them. I see non elsewhere unless in unread postal fliers.

    That extending caravan looks a bit narrow at shoulder height.

    Very little to do with adverts ET, much more sophisticated and insidious than that.
