Where do we get 'em from?
just returned from a stroll into town, back to site for lunch prior to going out this afternoon...
a MH must have been 'too long' at the MHSP (this site has poor water pressure) and the MH behind whipped round the corner and parked at the general water/waste point, 20 yds ahead, completely blocking the road.
in the meantime, van one has finished and cant get by....
what should he do?....wait patiently (gnashing teeth?)...ask politely if van two could move?
nah....too easy....
ill drive all over the adjacent (occupuied) pitch, right across the wet grass fingers...
you really couldnt make it up...

We were told off by a fellow MH-er for having our engine running while waiting at the MHSP - I know, I know but we were chatting and our brains were disengaged. Anyway, we weren't told off by her for any reasons to do with pollution but because the running engine apparently displayed our supposed impatience🤷🏻♂️

I was told off by an unhappy tent camper on our very first caravan trip, washing up at the wash up area when it could be done in the van...never done it since! (On the grounds of why stagger out in the rain and wind when you don't need to...) ☔💧

Was at brighton couple of weeks ago up the top bit with the ordinary fresh water waste and elsan are, first motor home pulls up blocks the road and starts getting his bits and pieces out to fill his tank or what ever, then second motor home pulls up and sits there patently cos he also wants to ablute his vehicle needs also , now there is a perfectly good mh service point downthe bottom by the exit, then the fun starts car caravan pulls up waits for what he thinks is the correct amount of time, then toots the with the right arm extended as to say let me by, now the second motor home indicates that hes waiting for the first offender road blocker so he could take HIS turn to block the road and the caravaner should be more patient, and this happened right in front of my van on pitch beside service point, not saying all motorhomers are the same, don't want to upset old T W.

Brighton, at least, has a MHSP that is functional unlike some of them.

And as has been stated so many times on here europe over the channel ,has always had the space to in some places enable the large percentage of the motor caravaning fraternity to be catered for, where as the UK has not the space to cater for them, as many who post on here are seemingly starting to realise, noted by the motorised caravans that it seems are only ever mobile as caravans when moving to their next stay as towed caravans do
