    Club sites offer exceptional facilities but, let’s face it, they are not genuinely commercial operations. They will never compete, for example, with a private site where the owner runs everything and his/her efforts alone determine how much money they will make.

    Agreed, EasyT.  My breaks are precious and few in number.  With CMC you know what to expect as their sites are consistent.  The fewer variables the better in my opinion.

    David you cannot have it both ways. Earlier this week you said that you do not use club sites, which you later amended to you use them so little that it was close enough to not using them, which is fine. 

    But then you cannot claim to know what they are all like and cannot make such judgements to all sites, maybe the few you have used recently, but even then you can only make these claims (overcrowded and lack of character) on the 5 or so sites you visit per year on the date you use them, not to all sites on the network on all dates?

     I spend little time on clubs but I know the general set up ... when you've visited one club site, you've visited them all .... rows of caravans all lined up within thousandths of an inch to a peg

    As if we did not guess that but then as I have 2019 ccc prices can you advise where I may find it,to see what time of year it was so to look for it next year or are we comparing this year on a serviced pitch at Grafham?  to a  similar pitch on Chichester some years backsurprised
