I read in the today that wine sales in the uk have fallen, Brits don't want to pay more than £5 a bottle...

We bought some very nice wines for under £5 a bottle. Trouble was it was in France.☹️ Cauliflowers were a ridiculous price though.😂

We brought back some of the big cartons of red wine, much better price than Cauliflowers and you can enjoy it laughinglaughinglaughing

Not sure if we will get the offers on wine up here, the Ginger one has slapped a 'drinkies' tax on us yellyellyell

Hope we can pick some up while down in the south in a weeks time smile

Yes she's a right spoil sport. We didn't get any wine on the Meal deal at M&S when we visited last. I assume because it's heavily discounted.

Never knew that Steve as we don't tend to shop at M&S, think you could be right though.

No, you missed out there Steve. We were up at Bunree last week and enjoyed the meal deal with wine twice. The wine wasn't displayed next to the food, but it was clearly labelled "meal deal" selection in the wine section. I was disappointed though to discover that my £5 off voucher was only valid in Scottish stores, when I went to use it in our current location in Wales. I intend to ask them why. That's as bad as having our banknotes refused surprised

I got a massive cauliflower for 7p yesterday from Morrisons. I asked staff why it was so cheap, past it’s sell by date apparently. You can’t help but think Planet Earth is a stupid place sometimes. Even check out assistant asked me if it was correct price. Somewhere a Farmer has his (or her) head in their hands in despair. Best cauli I have seen all year, easily do us a good three four meals......
