Hi. Can anyone tell me where I can buy replacement air beam bladders for a Kampa 390 air awning. I have replaced a couple of the leg bladders. I happened to be close to Kampa in Essex at the time so was able to source them easily. I now need to replace a couple of the support (horizontal) beams. Could anyone point me in the direction of an on line supplier? Many thanks.

I emailed Kampa directly and they sent me what I needed through the post. Great service.

Just wondering Frenchpara how old is your 390, only ive just bought the grande 390 and didn't really expect to replace any bladders , and the fact you've replaced two and two more gone is a bit worrying..

We've used our 390 several times this year & the same last year, we have not had any bladders fail.

must admit, bought one of the very first 390's and had to return it as 3 bladders popped out, glue failed, Kampa sent new replacement which was ok until in Spain early this year when the main leg blew a gasket. Kampa shipped new bladder within 4 working days. Ours is up constantly in Spain for approx 3 months and maybe a couple of months in the UK, i guess ours must be 4 or 5 years old, secret is not to inflate too high particularly if weather is hot, normally put 9 psi in ours anything less and it can becomes a bit unstable if windy.

It's only the last 2 times we've used our awning that I've had any indication of pressure in it. I've only filled mine to about 6 to 7 psi and it's been more than OK. Using the hand pump and guessing on previous times I think it must've been similar.

I wouldn't worry.  My experience is similar to Rufs.  Our last 390 was in use for 4 years or so and didn't have a problem with it.  I also err on the side of caution with regard to pressure.  We swapped it for a 390 Grande. last year and that's been fine as well. We also have a Sunncamp Air 390 that we use in winter because its lightweight and easy to dry and that also has been fine. Just keep a couple of psi below the recommended pressure and you shouldn't have any problems.

Hi. Our Kampa is 4 years old and has been used fairly constantly over that period. I'm pleased with how it has stood up to the use we have put it through. Thanks for the response.

Hi everyone. Thanks for all the replies. As we live in France but work in the UK. Our Kampa has been used and abused for around 4 years. It's done us very well. It's now looking it's age however. We are just waiting for delivery of our new Coachman Amara (as I write) so it may be time to upgrade the awning too. Thanks again

Like Mollys Mum I don't inflate my Kampa to the suggested fig in the hand book. I have experimented over a period of time and found a surprisingly low 4.5 lbs is more than enough to keep a firm attitude. I can then just pinch a slight indentation on the tubes. I found the supplied hand pump made deciding the pressure was difficult so I purchased the Kampa Gale air pump and dial in the desired air pressure and allow it to cut out automatically when it is reached.
