Issues with new caravan
Just wondering if anybody could give us some advice. We bought a new caravan two months ago and have had a number of problems with it, which has meant my husband taking it back to the dealer three or four times. These issues have included: blind not being fitted properly, DAB radio fell off the wall, digital control panel failed, motor mover had problems and needed resetting.
Last time we returned the caravan for fixing, the fitter put the DAB radio panel back on the wall and drilled through the outer skin of the caravan. At this point, the dealer agreed to replace the caravan. However, we are moving towards two weeks later and we do not yet have a caravan replacement. The dealer is bad at answering and returning calls and when we have emailed detailing the complaints we are told that they are sorting out our new caravan. They have never been particularly apologetic about the issues and we have nothing in writing about the caravan replacement, though they have verbally agreed this.
We have asked for them to repay the fuel for travelling to the dealer and back several times and we would also like our caravan insurance repaid for the last two months as we have been unable to go out in the caravan. Where do we stand with reclaiming these things? Should we seek legal advice if we don't here from them shortly? We are fed up of ringing and emailing and it has become quite a stressful thing. Is there somebody that we can complain to apart from the dealer and manufacturer? Thanks.

Agree with JVB.
I'd not want to deal with that company again so, in your shoes, would formally reject the caravan and insist on a full refund with a 'time of the essence' clause.

A another sad and sorry tale, you have my sympathies 😤😢.
I agree with the previous replies.
Definitely contact the clubs legal team. Keep a note of who, what and when (including the time) of conversations, and anything you write documation of such is vital.
If you bought with finance or put more than £100 on a credit card you can get help from them too.
