Can you take a dog to the NEC show? If camping there would most people feel safe leaving their dogs in their outfits for say about 2 hours at a time.?

I would not take it in as it gets very hot and dry and to be fair probably only guide dogs etc. allowed in.  Should be OK to leave in van all day this time of year, leave top vents open for air and plenty of water should be fine. as you say pop back a couple of times during the day to check and let it out.

Or there are several boarding kennels close to the NEC  in the Solihull area which offer day care for dogs.

This time of year it will be fine to leave your dogs Sumitra, weather isn’t that warm. Open vents, lock windows cracked open, and check if you can use blinds to cut out even weak sun. Big bowl of water, a good long walk before you leave them, and unless they are highly strung yappers, they will be absolutely fine, hardly notice you have gone. We turn gas off as well, and if on ehh, unhook.

The exercise bit is the key. Tire them out, day before, also prior to leaving them, and they will be begging you for a rest. It’s bored dogs that get stressed yap yap, yap. 😁
