Hi All

We are looking at staying for a few nights at the above CL in a couple of weeks and just wanted to know if anyone had stayed here and could give any opinions on the site. I have read the reviews and it seems really good but just wanting an opinion re access ect.

Thanks

Good site, Francis. Large flat H/S pitches. We were there the year of the floods in Carlisle and we were fine.  It is easy to get to, but a little narrow in one spot I seem to remember but nothing to worry about. It is on our list of sites we might use on our next trip. You could use the A689 west of Carlisle to get onto the B5299 and then head towards Dalston with the site coming on your right.

Thanks for the info Nellie. We are planning on heading down there at some point in the next few weeks. Another one we were looking at is Horn House CL near Wigton I notice on the reviews that you stayed there fairly recently and gave it a good review. That one looks lovely think we may give it a try.

    Thanks for the help.

Isn’t it great when you spot reviews written by someone you can rely on.  👍🏻👍🏻😊

It's a little gem, Francis. Nice sized H/S pitches divided by small trees, easy access, great showers & toilets and good views. No real dog walk unfortunately but fantastic value.
