The USB's sockets in our Hymer are powered from the 12 volt as they work independently of wether we have EHU, and the plug sockets along side them work or not. I would assume they are on one of the array of fuses that serve the 12 volt side. Perhaps the relevant fuse has gone. Does your handbook not  have any info.?

Hi thanks for your reply sorry for the delay ,

nothing in my handbook it’s just strange that none of my USB ports work but all plug sockets are fine

checked the fuses and they are on same fuse as the plug sockets

To what are you expecting these sockets to be the ports/ Usualy in caravans they simply supply voltage and the data lines are not connected to anything.

Having had a number of cigarette plugin USBs fail I wonder if the unit itself is more of a problem. One got really very hot and smelt prior to failing. Thankfully we noticed it!

As stated above, the USB sockets should be run from the dc system not the ac system so that you can use them when not on EHU. If that is the case then you need to check the dc fuses/switches, not the ac socket supply.
