Cherry Cottage, Middlemarsh, Dorset
We are on a two week stay at the Clubs Crossways site. Yesterday whilst out enjoying the countryside and back lanes we came across " Cherry Cottage " a very recent addition to the CL list. We were welcomed by a very nice lady who asked us to come and take a look. Through a keypad electric gate we drove down a well surfaced drive to the rear of their property to find a delightful well mown lawned area, plenty big enough for more than the 5 pitches available. Facilities to beat the club site we are on and almost half price. We will definitely be booking future stays here when in the area.

That's the lady with the new CL. She’s been posting on here about it.

Cheers. We sometimes stray into Dorset in October so you never know.

You are on our list for a visit, probably at the end of September into October all being well.

love Dorset and have used many different sitres. Your CL looks very very nice, but some adverse comments re access, 1 badly damaged caravan, 1 badly scratched, do you no favours especially as i have a 24ft caravan, and i would pay that little bit extra for 1 extra luxury, a shower, but good luck with your new venture.

Rufs regarding your comments regarding access, I was clearly very disappointed that the member damaged their caravan on entry, however I suggest you read the review fully, it clearly says it was not the owners fault and the member will be more careful next time.
Just to reassure everyone, I provide directions and arrival instructions, as approaching any entrance it is always recommended to enter slowly and carefully, and know how your own unit turns. As Freddy55 has said you just need to keep over to the right before you enter as the turning is off a single track road.
Bank Holiday weekend we had 4 twin axle vans on site with no access problems, they all followed the arrival instructions with no problems, one of whom has posted a review and specifically comments on the access.
If you take a look on our facebook page you can even see a video of a van entering the site, just to reassure you.
Pitching is not to the peg as we don’t have any pegs! I do ask that vans park in the traditional manner, as then you can benefit for the country side views and wonderful sunsets.
