Coachman windows fall off

"well i can only guess but there is a good chance that as JJ did not come back to address the issue, he saw all the off piste banter and gave up as many seem to do."
Bad guess. The OP only posts once every two years and seems to be one of those posters who doesn’t return to the threads he/she started to acknowledge responses.
"so if you felt the need to reply to the post it would have been quite easy for you to have made this statement way back in April"
Why would I? It’s not until today that anyone made derogatory remarks about posters and introduced qualifying standards for posting.

and you would know , and maybe the post is a ruse to wind everybody up , seen them before.

And being childish about an old post that seems you did not read when it was first posted just goes to prove the points
actually i was away in Spain for 3 months when the post was submitted, and unlike some, when i am away i have better things to do with my time then log on to CT.
and being away in Spain is perhaps why some of my plastic screws on the window struts have gone brittle, but no windows falling out

he only paid for 5 mins and has had all that he is getting from me.
not true, I have paid my £52 so am entitled, as much as you to contribute to CT, just because I am not a member of what you think is your elite club, does not detract from me being able to post on CT as and when i wish.
But getting back to the OP, have your ever owned a coachman ?

The evidence is there regarding the OP's posts.
And you’ve had all you’re getting from me as well. 🎣

Oh!!!! really, now why did i Know that, maybe because i seem to recall somebody contributed for a long time and was not a member, perhaps ET did not know this, but of course he does now. but you have still now answered my questions re windows falling out, remember, that was what the original OP was about.

as it has now gone quiet, back to the OP, and what i posted previously answers part if not the whole of what you wanted
But yes I have a 2016 Coachman Laser and the bathroom window fell off at the weekend. They are only stuck on with adhesive.
Shock horror !!! sign of the times i guess, just checked mine and they are screwed on 4 x screws, only problem i have had with windows are the struts, the screw part has gone quite brittle on some and broken, probably from sitting in the sun, simple and relatively cheap to replace

As an opening statement is does set one pondering. Windows fall off? Is that one window? Clearly not as it is plural. Do they actually fall out, or move within the recess? Who knows? Model specific? Again, we’ll never know.
Hardly bad behaviour asking for a bit more information. 🤔

It's all to do with Coachman's 10 year water ingress guarantee. They keep the number of holes drilled into the body at a minimum therefor all the windows are held in place with adhesive - no screws.
Get a good hot summer and the adhesive can soften and the window falls off. But, according to Coachman, this is not covered by the manufacturers warranty!! Because windows are only covered for 3 years.
Do you think if I claim the caravan side fell off the window I might stand a better chance

I should find a better one
