Seasonal pitch - 28 night trial at Modbury
Just glanced at Seasonal pitch website page, and notice Club are trialling 28 night stays, instead of usual 21 nights. Not a site I know, but good news for those who like a seasonal pitch.

The way I read it is that they've extended the length of time one can stay on your pitch from 21 to 28 nights during the length of your seasonal pitch contract.....not that they are offering 28 day, short term, seasonal pitches at a reduced price, which I thought that you were hinting at above, tda.

Yes, my apologies. If a Mod would like to add seasonal to title that’s fine by me. Sorry for any confusion. We have holiday chums that used to take seasonal pitches at Marazion. But had to come onto CL every 21 days for a couple of nights.

I never got my head around that crazy rule. I dare say there’s extra money for someone(not static owner) down the line. I’m willing to bet it’s govt or land owner👍🏻

I believe, as far as static vans are concerned, 12 months availability makes them, at least technically, residential, rather than holiday use. Thus you become eligible for council tax etc. The park we have our van on closes in February but we can use the van at any time we like throughout the rest of the year. The (rather more up market) one just up the road is open for 12 months but you have to be able to prove residency at a permanent UK address and can still only use it for a maximum of 11 months a year.
I stand to be corrected though!

I think you’re exactly right, M. The 'up market’ site is owned by the same company with a site near us. Same rules apply and van owners have to provide proof of residence elsewhere.
