Roof coming away from body!

Can anyone advise me please?

I have a 2009 swift challenger 570 with what looks to be like the roof rising away from the body of the caravan above the door. There are no signs of any movement on the wall. Is this a common issue or should I be really concerned? What is involved in fixing this problem? Thanks to anyone that can help me on this.

You might be referring to the fact that a caravan roof (i.e. the aluminium sheet) floats on the boarding underneath this is to allow for thermal movements. The effect is most noticeable in hot weather and the sheet can be pressed down and will spring back once pressure is removed. The whole roof gives the impression of being rippled, all caravans with this method of construction have this effect and its nothing to be concerned with, provided of course there is no visible detachment.
