Wow, the paved pitches practically sold out already!  Has the temp campsite even been advertised yet?

£40 a night AND 6 amp hook-up included, hard standing as well (not sure what you do with the awning though). What a bargain!

I can’t imagine spending much more than half a day at the show, even if buying a new motorhome, but I guess I’m just getting old.

other non EHU THS sites are between £8-£12 a night.

my view has always been, considering most visitors wil have one or two days at the show with perhaps a night in between, why bother with the 'huge expense' of setting up a 6 amp generator system, and then charging back the stupid fee of £40?

dont bother with the logistical nightmare of providing the EHU, no one really needs it for one night, then the site could be £15 tops.....still a lot for a car park but a damn site better than £40.

unless someone is making a load of cash from this farce......?

if I take the van, I'll go up the road to a proper THS at £12 and drive the van to the free car park.

Have you looked at the price of the C&CC tempoary site at Blenheim for the Country File live show in early August. That is grass and no electric!

Ah.... obviously not getting as many takers. Come down a bit because I am sure earlier in the year it was £40p.n.
