Hi, is it possible to book a site for the one adult, as not sure if my other half is free on the dates in question yet, if it turns out they are can I simply pay for the extra adult when I turn up at a site?

Also the pitches with awning, do you HAVE to put up an awning, I have one but have no idea if its complete or even how to put up yet as only just got the van (second hand) and it came with the awning in a bag.

You do not pay anything for a club site until you arrive. I suggest you book the whole break for one person as soon as you like. You can then either amend your booking online later or amend it when you book in at reception.

No, there is no compulsion to erect an awning on an awning pitch. Many of us book awning pitches because they are more plentiful which gives a better choice on arrival and, sometimes, are more spacious.

You’re welcome. I suggest having a play around with the booking system to familiarise yourself with it.

I just make 2 bookings.  One for whilst I’m by myself then another when my lady arrives

yes have done that many times and in fact haven't booked any of the 'children' in yet as they don't know when they will be staying with us over the next few weeks so I'll pay on the day they arrive.

You can even do the reserve, ie book for 3 adults then on the day if plans have changed only pay for two. The wardens have to recalculate your fees but it only takes a minute or so.

The important think is to book the pitch (and a min of one adult), booking in adults is just to calculate the total price so to speak.

yes the system can't cope with people not being there some of the time when booking, so when I go midweek to midweek with OH coming at the weekends I book myself in as pitch +1, then pay on arrival for the extra Mrs C.
