Turkish delight
We set off on 8th April Dover to Dunkirk, through France to Belgium then Germany, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, European Turkey, Asian Turkey, Greece, Bulgaria, Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Italy, France, then back to England. Apart from the ferry we booked nothing. A total of 93 days, 39 campsites, 3 nights "wild" camping, and a total of 9400 miles.
The campsite in Slovakia Romania Bulgaria and Turkey were variable and sometimes didn't even exist, but the people of all the countries were helpful and very friendly. the main aim was to get to the Turkish Back sea coast which was beautiful, we then went on through the mountains and round to Bursa and spent a month all told in Turkey. We found the real "Turkish delight" in the town of Safranbolu which is famous for it, A wonderful trip and one to remember.

Thank you for posting. However given the extent of your tour is it not possible to give a bit more detail? You have travelled further than most of us and it could make a fascinating fuller story. It would also be good to have some photographs added?

Thanks for your kind comments, we haven't been back long and have been to an Eriba rally since so really haven't had much time to ourselves, but I would like to write up in more detail later, I still have to sort out 1900 photos.
