Bailey number plate

Trying to remove the number plate off my 2015 Unicorn III. Is it stuck on ? Also under the van at the back is a half inch rubber pipe with a bung in it what is this for?

    The most common method that dealers use, for removing well stuck on number plate is cheese wire.

    I don’t know where to obtain cheese wire from, but I’m sure that unravelling a bicycle brake cable would produce a strong thin alternative. Pulling the wire through the adhesive behind the number plate might be hard work.

    They say that dental floss makes a good cheesenwire .... 😕

    though I've removed stuck on number plates by gently pulling outwards on one end.

    On our U2 Cadiz it was for draining the Alde fluid.

    Get some fishing line ( approx 40 lb B.S. ) that will not do any damage at all to the caravan finish and will cut through the adhesive pads

    You could try a hair dryer on it.

    That's a very good idea as mine dropped off in hot sun in Spain, on site fortunately.  Restuck with double sided tape onto the original sticky pads.
