Car registration number

My car registration seems to be logged somewhere on here because it appears when I book a site. Having now changed my car, how do I amend the registration? I have trawled all through the site (apart from the bit that I need, obviously) and cannot find any opportunity to update things.

     Go to "my profile" then "bookings", click on amend and you can update your car registration there. smile

    Whenever I use the online booking system the vehicle registration box can always be changed by deleting anything that appears  in it so I can add my new motorhome reg number.It might depend on the browser being used and whether the cache is regularly cleared? I use Chrome and it does what I have mentioned above.

    But do you have to ammend every time you book with the new vehicle?

    I think I have to enter my registration anew each time I make a booking, though I may be wrong as I haven't made a booking lately! wink

    When I get to the box for car Reg No, it pops up in a 'drop down' menu underneath so all I do is click to confirm.

     Yes, you're right Jill. I just made a mock booking and saw it. I'd never noticed that before. So I guess the answer to the OP's question is that as soon as you enter a different letter or digit in the box the original registration is replaced.

    The answer is that your browser probably stores the number. As an aside it also stores previous searches so if you are looking for a hotel price and go back to a site you might find the price gone up. Clear your history and try again. Price might have dropped. I understand that some insurance sites do the same.

    I'm picking up my new to me car this Friday, so I've had to change the reg number for this Saturdays booking in the way quoted.

    What I want to add is, you can only do this on the website, the App doesnt seem to me to have the option to amend the car registration number.

    I dont need to make a permanent change because we have private plates, but if I did I think I would phone up.

    Sometimes the old ways are far easiest! 🚘

    Thanks for the replies. All sorted now. It did take several attempts though.
