Does anyone have any experience (or even know of) Devanti car tyres? I've been offered them by my local tyre dealer as an equivalent rating (Wet = B  Fuel = C) to the Goodyear Efficient Grip that I've currently got on the car but at £46.00 cheaper.

Assuming it is Davanti, not a knock off of the name, there are a few reviews on Davanti's website. Here.

Looked at the reviews which are all five star, I may be wrong, but for me that looks too good to be reliable. I would see if you can get more info elsewhere.

I have to say that I like tyres with a name on them that I've heard of ....

If Uniroyal Rain Sport 3 are available in your tyre size I can highly recommend them. I have them on my Smart Roadster & you can corner in the wet exactly as you would in the dry. (and they have little shark fins on them! wink)

Whilst the reviews on the Davanti web site seem a bit too 'contrived' and all 5 stars it's interesting that I've found a lot of dealers actually selling the tyres. I'm hoping they can't all be wrong.

MMs link makes very interesting reading (thanks MM) and it backs up what my nephew has told me about Chinese technology companies. He worked out there for a couple of years with JLR and his job sent him to various high tech car components manufacturers.

Tomorrow I give the tyres a try. Their ratings match the Goodyear that I currently have but if they don't last quite as long I'm probably still quids in.

If I could post pictures I'd show you ..... but I can't ... so I can't. I could on any other forum I use though, but on any other forum, a link would make itself live.

I have the Davanti DX640 fitted to my Volvo XC70 and are satisfied with them having covered about 12000 miles on them so far.

Thanks, all, for your replies. I've had 2 DX640s fitted today so we'll see how they perform.
