Apologies if this one is in the wrong place but hope somebody can help !

My 80 year old parents (CC members) have sadly decided to give up on hauling their caravan and want it sold ..... problem is that I have no reliable idea what its worth and was hoping somebody could give me an idea.

Condition is pretty much immaculate inside and out as they took great pride in looking after it.

Any idea what I should look to get for it and maybe even best place to try and sell it ?

Any help greatly appreciated !

You might get more selling it privately. A dealer will offer you the book price regardless of condition. It’s just like selling a car privately, folks need to come and take a look, Etc.... But ensure you get the money before you hand over the van, there are some sharks out there.

You could check Caravanfinder to see what prices others are asking.

I would look through various dealer web sites to see what similar caravans are going for assuming it is reasonably modern. The value of older ones is more dependent on condition than anything else.

You might get more help on the Practical Caravan forum who will allow you to add the details of the caravan.
