Elusive part for Heiki 2 roof light

hi all, 

looking for some assistance in locating parts for a Heiki 2 roof light....... right here goes. 

My gas struts needed replacing which I believe is a fairly common thing. Bought some new struts removed old ones by removing metal caps which cover the fitting pins and fitted new struts. 

However the metal caps that cover the fixing pins are a bit worse for wear and I would like to replace them. 2 cream caps and 2 Chrome caps. 

I have spoken to a number of retailers some simply can’t get them and others will only supply with new struts as part of a set from dometic. 

This is driving me potty as there must be somewhere I can get them????     Any suggestions/ links etc much appreciated

    When I replaced the struts on my old Coachman Amara, I found some plastic caps from leftover kitchen cabinet fittings, the type of thing that is used to cover screw holes or conceal screw heads.

    They should have come with the struts in a poly bag.so go back to the supplier

    Not if you have used SDS or someone who charges a reasonable amount for the struts. I found them to be half price compared to the Bailey equivalent!  However, they don’t supply the domed metal caps. I am not sure but I think the metal domed caps come with the units that hold the heki in place ie the black plastic unit that carries the opening bar and the lock down swivels. The plastic caps are fairly easy to find as already covered
