Believe me the most dangerous roads will be the ones travelling from Leicester to Wales  when of motor ways into quiet rds of   Mid rural Wales you will think what happen to all the traffic  but be careful of speed cameras

Its not at all dangerous or even all that difficult as long as you keep to a sensible speed and take care on the bends. There are the odd hilly bits but no more so than the roads from Worcestershire to Llangurig.

You will also need to take care in Rhayader at the clock tower especially if you go back that way. The alternative is to get to Llangurig via Shrewsbury and Newtown.

Thank you but what is it in Rhayader that is a problem.

There is a sharp turn in the town at the junction of the main road and the turn up to Llangurig - easy enough going but on the way back the tower sort of gets in the way with the larger turning circle needed with the c'van on the back. Just needs care really. Done it a few times now without any real alarms.  Have a look on Street View and you will see how much room you have.

Nothing - and the roads in Wales are no different than any where else, in fact better than most as they’ve had huge investment to upgrade. If a road is big enough for a tractor and trailer and log lorries - then it’s big enough for a car and caravan - even in Rhayader!

It's not the roads that are dangerous, it's the drivers.
