Alternative to aquaroll for Full serviced pitches

As I was looking for something else, I came across these.....

They look good for anyone who knows they ae going to be using a serviced pitch and wants to save on space by leaving the aquaroll at home.  Just wondered if anyone has used them?

They are quite expensive and would be no good for use as an aquaroll on their own as capacity is only 8 litres.....

Just thought it was worth a mention, if anyone is interested.

    They're quite good those Collapz people aren't they? Haven't used one but would consider it if we did use service pitches more. Finding quite a few CL owners now installing exclusive water tap so may have to look into it at some time. Don't use SPs on CAMC sites.

    I always try to use serviced pitches as much as possible.  If I could slot in more serviced pitches for the little gap we have in our 6 week summer plan, I'd consider getting one.  That means I could leave the aquaroll and wastemaster at home: save the weight and the space

     That looks very impressive.

    Given thata Aquaroll is around £50 is not that much more expensive, especially as it includes the ball valve.

    A pity that I already have 2 Aquaroll!!

    Like you David I use SP almost exclusively and I like this device very much.

    I have considered those 'straight in' devices but decided against it due to (minor) worries about flooding the caravan and if the water on pitch fails (as it did last October when the tap froze) then an aquaroll still functions.

    I would still carry the aquaroll and wastemaster as they live in the van permanently and can't be bothered taking them in and out into the garage but this device would save getting the aquaroll out on site and if it was half price that price I would probably buy one.

    Actually as I write I'm thinking I might get one. Thankssmile

    don't think a wastemaster and aquaroll weigh that much, unless your travelling with them full. wink

    Having recently had a caravan axle problem, I'm more cautious about the weight of items we carry.  Whilst the aquaroll and wastemaster are not that heavy, several items, all of which are not that heavy, soon add up.  Consequently, we find ourselves carrying far less stuff with us, and far more stuff in the car.  I've actually started to feel it's quite convenient having the aquaroll and wastemaster in the car especially as the aquaroll and the wastemaster go on the 'offside' of the van, which is where we park the car.

    The trouble with carrying these things in the car is not the weight, but the space they take up, hence my interest in this item.

    I'm with you all the way, Corners, but if I could save the bulk of the aquaroll and wastemaster, this would be an attractive proposition.

    Well, I bit the bullet yesterday and have ordered one of Colapz Fresh mini kit.  I also ordered a flexi waste pipe kit too.  You can just join as many metre sections together as you need.  Each metre section is compressed into a smaller pipe for storage/ carriage.  It's been an expensive few days, but I hope worth it in the long run.  No more wrestling with metres of convoluted waste hose!

    I also bought the flexible waste pipe kit at the Peterborough Show. Fits nicely under the drivers seat where it can be easily reached.

    They were demoing the fresh water kit at the show, seemed to be quite a lot of interest

    I have the same as you have just ordered David. I pre-ordered it before it arrived in the UK.

    And I'm glad I did, it really is excellent kit.

    The fresh mini kit (and waste pipes) live in the caravan full time with the full size Aquaroll and Wastemaster. They are light and take up very little space.

    I try and get a serviced pitch, due to a limb problem, if I can and it's a doddle to set this all up.

    I've tried all manner of "waste pipe" solutions and the Colapz pipes are the best I have ever used. (all other pipes now redundant in the garage)

    I don't think you will be disappointed

    £8 all in. It uses pipes rather than corrugated hose that harbours residue from soap / shampoo / hair / skin cells  and associated congealed fat from detergents and bodies. I slide one length of pipe inside the other and fit into the offside chassis leg behind the motor mover bar held with bungees and cycle straps that in turn are used to support the pipe where required.A quick rinse through with the remnants of the hot water tank before departure. 

    Water feed is via the Truma Ultraflow.

    On a serviced pitch this BH weekend, so will try to remember to take pics of set up and stowage.

    Thanks HarribO.  The packets arrived today.  We also ordered a watering can.  Unfortunately, we were missing a plastic washer from the 'spout' connection.  I emailed them and got an email back within half an hour saying they would post me one out immediately.  It's an easy mistake, and customer service seems really good.

    Well, we tried the Colapz fresh mint water connection kit, the waste pipes and the watering can last week at Poolsbrook site and all worked well - no problems.  I shan't be taking our aquaroll or wastemaster away at all for our 5 weeks away in the summer.  I've booked all serviced pitches.  laughing

     One issue with the reduced mass of water stored is it will be more prone to freezing. I see they sell an insulating kit of quilted foil for another £20.

    Our van has a built in 45 litre tank, which best addresses that issue, though the system is configured that I could use the device through most of the year.

    I agree entirely, Ocsid.  For us, there are pieces of equipment we are unlikely to take with us In the winter, which will free up room for the aquaroll in the car (e.g. cadac, outside table and chairs).  I know Colapz have also have a 45 litre fresh water container and a 45 litre waste water collection receptacle in development.  It will be interesting to see what they come up with.

    I wanted a collapsible bucket and as I was paying the delivery, was tempted by the waste pipe kit. Considering it is 4 metres of piping, It takes up hardly any room in its collapsed form. Used a couple of lengths today, connected to the tube Hymer supply, with the colapz universal connector. It meant we could park clear of the waste trap to enable easy lifting of the lid. Very pleased with the purchase.😀

    I've been impressed by what we have bought from them too.  You have to slightly twist the pipe to extend it.  The only question I had in my mind was with constant extending and collapsing, over a period of time it could be prone to splitting.  I guess only time will tell, but do far, so good.
