Old Reich mover and 2012 Van

I have been told that the Reich mover I had on a previous van (quite old!) cannot be fitted to my 2012 Lunar Delta RS as it has shock absorbers.

I have googled a few mover sites, but I am unable to determine what makes and models I can use on my Lunar Delta.

I'll be buying secondhand (should have been born in Yorkshire :-)  so I'd rather not buy something I can't use!

Is there a site that says what is compatible?

Cheers

Peter

Most UK vans built since 2009 have shocks fitted as standard, so I would have expected any mover made since then might be OK.

We have a 2008 van with a Truma mover and I fitted it with shocks myself without problems.

I have a Reich Easydriver 2.8 on my 2016 Delta. I had to lose the spare wheel carrier as I have the motor mover on all 4 wheels.

Our Lunar Delta was somewhat older 2003 IIRC and was fitted with a Reich mover before we bought it. I subsequently fitted shockers to it.

Thanks, it looks like it was just an excuse no to fit it! I like the Reich movers, they seem well made! With this one I've replaced the rollers with the "stuck on" grit to those with the moulded grips in the steel roller.

    Cheers

The issue is now moot as when we got the van there was 40% damp in one area (even though the dealers damp check showed "OK" throughout". So we rejected it and got a full refund.

The same motor mover was fitted to a Buccaneer Schooner by another dealer with no issues and it had identical suspension to the Lunar!

They just couldn't be ars.. (bothered!)

Glad you got sorted in the end ... though we can all do without the hassle of a damp caravan.
